Our new GCP axis-on-axis dispense platform design

This design is a more traditional axis-on-axis motion platform.  The Z rides on the X which rides on the Y.  

The advantages over the CP lines are several: a more compact footprint (35" x 26" versus a CP design which would need 52" x 26" as a minimum), a bearing mount design which requires no adjustment along the Y axis and preserves (in Y) bearing to part parallelism, and a design that allows easy, cost effective integration of a safety enclosure.  Unlike many competing platforms of this style, the gantry motion elements sit inbound of the machine footprint.  Where many similar systems might have platform safety concerns (given that in many cases the motion rails sit at the left and right extremes), this design allows for cost effective mitigation of potential hazards if desired.

Our GCP platform can leverage our software, which now allows a system origin to be reset anywhere within the work envelope, allowing all systems to now reflect coordinate systems that may be in effect facility-wide.  This speeds CAD conversions, further decreasing design to production times.
